Having been close and interested observers of the property market in recent years the overwhelming feedback that we have received is that Estate Agents have often been guilty of a lack of communication and customer service. After careful consideration we felt that 2010 was the perfect time to launch.
Higginson, Weymouth and Whalley are not trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to selling houses, but strongly believe that being open, honest and working harder to satisfy the needs of their customers will go a long way to ensuring their success.
Our five partners are Phil, Colin and David Higginson, Mark Weymouth and Peter Whalley. Phil, David and Mark are the owners of our sister company 1st Financial Group. David and Mark were also founding partners in a local agency prior to its sale in August 2009.
Managing partner Peter Whalley will be responsible for the day to day running of the business, particularly within Taunton and the surrounding area. Peter has many years experience in sales, and was born, bred and schooled in Somerset. Peter has values true to all of us - that of honest, friendly advice - our goal is to sell your home via clear appraisal and guidance.
Colin will be responsible for our 'satellite office' working out of Curry Rivel, and looking after Langport, Somerton, Long Sutton, Martock and their surrounds. Colin has worked in sales all his life.
