Zoomf has a link to us page. Logos for everyone.
Written by Mike Carter on February 18, 2009 – 3:16 pm -Zoomf has launched a webpage where you can pickup badges and logos of the Zoomf brand. This also includes search boxes in various sizes and a nicely designed pickup method. We’ll soon be adding logos that you can use for printed material.
Will free-to-list ever replace subscriptions?
Written by Mike Carter on August 21, 2008 – 2:44 pm -Zoomf and Globrix are free-to-list websites. They also offer ‘paying’ ad products in order to give more visibility and lead generation to estate agents. As an agent, you probably think to yourself (and we’ve been challenged about this many times) the following:
- I don’t get it. If it’s free why would I pay? (the answer, by the way is you get more leads than a non-paying customer. Pay for performance.)
- How are ‘free’ models ever going to compete with pay-to-list ie portals like Rightmove, Property Finder, etc
- Will free-to-list stay in this format ?
Craig Donato, founder and CEO of Oodle has written some interesting posts on the future of free-to-list and his opinion on where it can/will go.
I recommend a read if you still have ‘internal questions’ about why free-to-list is now part of the UK property market, how will it work and where it could be going.
Obligatory horn tooting…
Written by Mike Carter on July 7, 2008 – 11:44 am -It’s always nice to win things, even if it’s a bit silly, so excuse us for a minute whilst we revel in our own glory.
Yesterday, the month long poll ‘Euro 2008 - Portals‘ came to a close and Zoomf were crowned the champions. The poll, which was running at the Property Owl blog, was won with 35% of the vote. We’d like to thank all of those who voted for us, you’ve made our parents very proud.

It’s Friday…
Written by Mike Carter on June 27, 2008 – 4:16 pm -It’s tiresome work running a search engine, but it can also be a lot of fun.
For this week’s silly Friday post we have our favourite Maori demonstrating that office chairs can be more fun than a trip to the zoo. Enjoy!
