Rightmove has produced some stunning results that were released today. All this tells you is that -

  1. Leads are king. He who has the leads gets the revenue.
  2. Leads in a down market become even more valuable.
  3. Online leads are cheaper than offline leads so the switch from traditional (print) advertising to online continues to shift the balance.

Highlights of the news include -

  1. Average cost for agents is 317 gbp per month, up 37%.
  2. 20.8 million gbp in profit
  3. 5% rise in member numbers
