Getting feedback on how to improve your website.

If you’re like us at Zoomf, you’re constantly trying to improve your website. It is your front door to the world and is open 24/7. So what is one of the best ways to make sure your website does what your users want? Get feedback. And how do you accomplish that painlessly? You could put up an online feedback form and hope people click to it AND fill it out. That’s a long process for a user and will most likely produce little results. Another option could be to install a pop-up type survey every time you see a new person on your website. How many of you close those windows immediately? It’s similar to being approached on the the street… keep walking!

But where there is a need, the Web 2.0 world always seems to provide a solution. Introducing Kampyle. This is a plug-and-play feedback system that isn’t intrusive to the user experience. It works by creating a little floating panel in the lower right hand corner of the users screen. You can see it in use on their own website, floating as your scroll.

So what’s the short-list of benefits?

  1. it’s free
  2. it’s painless to install (shouldn’t take your IT person more than a couple hours)
  3. it’s got great reporting functions so you learn right away
  4. it doesn’t interfere with the user experience

Sounds good to me.
