Tube and Congestion Zone overlays

Zoomf engineering has just added this functionality to our maps. A nice visual overlay to discovering if it’s going to cost you even more to have a car in the area. Enjoy!

Hurford enables mapping…..

Written by Mike Carter on June 21, 2007 – 2:56 pm -

Kudos to Hurford Salvi Carr for their recently redesigned website.
They’ve integrated Goggle mapping with colour coded pins indicating
availability status which is a great user experience feature.

David Salvi, Director of Hurford Salvi Carr
commented: “Our research has shown that users of property websites
particularly dislike sites that are full of under offer or sold/let
properties and we have strived to give our clients a enjoyable on-line
experience.”

The Big Relaunch

Written by admin on June 19, 2007 – 12:20 pm -

Last week we relaunched zoomf.com with our new branding and a fresh look and feel. Now it’s possible to apply multiple search filters at the same time. For example, you can specify “£550,000+, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, in Herne Hill with a garden and garage” by selecting items from the ‘refine your search’ drop-downs and pressing ‘go’.

We’ve also added user registration to the site so that favourite searches and properties can be saved with ease. Very soon this functionality will be extended so that users can share their favourite properties with friends and families, which is useful when you are looking to buy or let a new home together. Favourite properties and searches can also be added to Digg, Del.icio.us and Reddit with a single click.

The map is now easier to use as we’ve added toggle buttons to show pubs, bars, cafes, restaurants, estate agents and schools in the surrounding area. Later this week it will also be possible to overlay travelcard and congestion charge zones on the same map.

Take a look at the new features and tell us what you think. We’re always grateful for your feedback!
